MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PHARSI-Part two
As I write the words the Lord gives me to write, I am taken by Him to many scriptures throughout the Bible, and one fact stands miles above the crowd, the Word of God is always in agreement. The scriptures in the Old Testament unlock the scriptures in the new. They are different witnesses all saying the same thing, just as we in the body of Christ are to be many witnesses all saying the same thing.
Now, are you ready for this, believers? I want you to meet someone special. I want to introduce you to yourself as Zechariah saw you over 2500 years ago. Are you ready to say, “Pleased to meet you?”
And I said, “I see…a lampstand (a menorah) all of gold with its bowl on top of it, and seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps, which are on top of it…”
Zechariah saw a solid gold lampstand, a menorah. The gold lampstand is the entire body of Christ. The solid gold lampstand with its seven lamps on top is the real you.
Now are you ready to meet yourself again? Take my hand and I’ll introduce you to yourself in the book of Revelation. See the moment when the Lord Jesus Christ, whom we serve, revealed what had always been a mystery that was fenced and hidden to John.
“I (John) turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me…I saw seven golden lampstands, and among them was someone like the Son of Man.”
Sorry believers, I just had to take a weeping and praising break, because as I was typing that verse, another part of the mystery of God that was fenced and hidden to me (and to many of you) just opened before me like a book written in bright red ink. Suddenly, I could see clearly what had been secret before. I am astonished by what I see, and I am giving glory to God for the beautiful mystery He is showing us in this very last moment before He comes in the clouds. He said He would, but wow, I didn’t know it was this good.
Get ready to meet the ‘you’ John met. Get ready. I hope you’re sitting down for this mini-series. If you’re not, you may want to pull up a chair for each of the remaining parts of God’s mini-series, while I show you what He is showing me. It’s all about the big beautiful you. A well-known American Evangelist wrote in his Bible about the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who have been given the great honour of serving Him in this last kingdom built by man, “How did ‘they’ get stuck in the Tribulation period?”
Let it be known far and wide—we’re not stuck at all. God chose us especially to be here. As this mini-series unfolds, I’ll be revealing these reasons to you. When I do, you’ll cry too, not because it’s horrible, but because it is awesome! Now then, back to those introductions.
Zechariah saw the Church as a solid gold lampstand (menorah) with seven lamps on it. He saw us as a whole body, together as one, united, and yet, separate. He saw the many members, the one body we are in Christ Jesus.
John saw seven lamps, and Jesus, the great I AM, the one who was, the one who is, the one who ever shall be, right here in the midst of us.
The KJV calls lamps “candles”. This is incorrect. Yes, candles are lights, but candles do not use oil, and lamps do. Later on you’ll see why this is so important, and this is exactly why the Holy Spirit has me compare different translations.
John saw us separate. John saw us as seven lampstands. And yet, united in Christ Jesus, the same as Zechariah.
“In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp-double edged sword.”
In the day Jesus showed these future things to John, the world was a much smaller place, and the body of Christ was a much smaller body than it is these days.
John was instructed, just as I am, to write down what He saw. John was instructed to send it to the seven churches in Asia. I am instructed to send it to the seven churches in the world.
John’s world was centred on one Continent, so that’s where the Church was too: Asia.
Now the world is a much bigger place, and so is the body of Christ. You are a big beautiful you spread out on the same seven mountains the whore of Babylon, which is the false religious system unbelieving man is preaching, is spread out on. You are a big bold beautiful you spread across seven continents.
These are the seven continents, and the seven mountains of the world. These are the seven kingdoms that make up the last kingdom of this world, the NEW WORLD (DIS-) ORDER of our day.
These are the seven heads with the seven crowns that sit on the body of the Anti-Christ system. Seven heads, one body, the NEW WORLD (DIS-) ORDER.
These are the seven mountains the woman sits on. The seven mountains are Beast One in the 13th chapter of Revelations.
These are the kingdoms the woman in Revelation 17 sits on. She is on all seven continents preaching, ‘sin, sin, sin.’ We are on all seven continents preaching, ‘Turn, turn, turn…Jesus died to free you from sin.’
He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches.
We are the seven lamps; seven bright lights in a very dark world, and keep in mind that darkness hates the light. They hate the light and love the darkness. They are the ones who say, “I hate love, and love hate.”
They are the haters of God for He is love, and they are the lovers of satan, for he is hate.
We are the ones who say, “I love Love, and I hate hate.”
We are the lovers of God, for He is Love, and the haters of satan, for he is hate.
We are the many members of the one body in Christ Jesus. All of us are smaller lights reflecting God’s glory in the area He has placed us in, but together we make one big beautiful lampstand placed here to shine the light of the good news of the gospel of Christ to an ever-darkening place. We are the church. We are no longer divided by denominations or beliefs that do not fit with the teachings of the Lord Jesus. You are the big beautiful you, united in Christ Jesus. We are the body of Christ. We are here taking part in God’s greatest moment.
We are the seven eyes of the Lord.
“See the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,” says the Lord Almighty, “and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.”
What is the rock? Yeshua ha’Massiach: our Jesus the Messiah.
God is as good as His Word. He did remove our sin in a single day just as He promised He would.
1 Peter 2:24
“He bore our sins in His own body on the tree, so that we, being dead to sin, might live unto righteousness and by His stripes we were healed.”
By His stripes we WERE healed. Past tense.
Whoever believes on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Faith in Him will save you. Faith in Him will free you. Faith in Him will make you whole. Present tense.
You gotta believe NOW. Faith in God is an active thing, not a passive thing. Faith in God is a now thing, not a later thing.
Jesus is the precious cornerstone, and He is the Capstone. The two are one and the same. The nation of Israel is still waiting for this capstone. They missed Him when He came the first time.
“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a stone of offense, and He who believes in Him will not be disappointed.”
To unbelievers, Jewish or non-Jewish, Yeshua: our Jesus is a stone to stumble over. They are stumbling over Him because they are walking in darkness. We all know how easy it is to stub our toe when we are walking around in the dark. We know the obstacle is there somewhere but we just can’t see it. It’s out there somewhere, but we just don’t know where until we stumble over it.
This is what our Jesus is to unbelievers—He’s an obstacle placed in their path. They cannot see Him as the truth that He is and the salvation He died to give us. They cannot see Him as the rock of salvation, and they stumble and are dashed to bits.
We see Him. He is our sure foundation to stand on.
We see Him. He is our capstone, our light in this world of ever-increasing darkness.
“Then Jesus spake again unto them (and you and me!!)saying, ‘I AM the light of the world; the one that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
If you are hearing His words right now, then look at Him--I’ve just turned on the light so you can see Him as He really is. If you turn and believe Him, you’ll see Him like I see Him. You’ll see Him and you’ll love Him. Why? Because He loved you first, and He loved you best. He loved you more than He loved Himself. He gave up His SELFIE to save you. He took the punishment that we deserved, but He did not.
If you have made Christ Jesus your Lord and Saviour at some point in your life, but have never forsaken the things of the world in order to follow Him, like I had not, make this day the day you choose to follow Jesus no matter what the cost, and you will gain treasure above all the treasure this world can ever give you. Turn and follow Him, and you will see that all the things you were following are worthless, just like I did, and the things He gives are priceless beyond compare.
Turn to Him, let Him become your light, and step into the place God saved for you in the greatest move of God ever seen before. It may be a dark world, and it’s getting darker, but He is a very bright light, and in His light of life, there is no darkness. Become a part of the big beautiful you. Have a starring role in the most exciting moment in history.
