BECOME AN EVERY DAY KIND OF CHRISTIAN
“He will speak against the Most High and oppress His holy people,
and try to change the set times and the laws.” Daniel 7:25

Times, they are a changin’...
He will attempt to change times and laws. He will come as a time-changer, and as a law-changer.

But I prefer the KJV of this verse. Here’s the verse again in the KJV in it’s entirety.
“And he shall speak great words against the Most High and wear out the saints of the Highest One,
and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law, and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times and half a time.”

The law is the Word of God, and God’s Word is perfect (complete), and settled forever in heaven. In fact, He has placed His Word ahead of His own name. That’s how perfect it is.

Soon after the Lord told me, “I will unlock Revelation to you,” He told me to go to the book of Daniel, because Daniel is the key to unlock Revelation.

The prophet, Daniel’s prophecies are so astounding, that many of his critics, who were bent on proving the Bible wrong, tried to say that Daniel did not really live as early as he did. He lived later, and that’s why his prophecies were spot on, because they were written after they happened instead of before. But, I’ve made a discovery. Many of the past fulfillments were just smaller versions of the fulfillments in our day. The long ago fulfillments shadow what is happening now. Is this Cool, or what?

Well then, how about those prophecies meant for right now? Again, his visions are spot on--What he saw happened centuries after his death, and are happening right now, today.

Daniel determined in his heart to understand, and would often spend days and days in fasting and in prayer before God. God rewarded his faithfulness by giving him many visions that were for Daniel, so far into the future that they may as well have been in a distant galaxy.

In Daniel 12:7, we get another confirmation of this time-changer prophecy we are seeing in Daniel 7. (Hint: He’s doing the same thing as the angel in Revelation 10). See if you recognise the man who appeared to Daniel in this vision (but you may want to back up a little and take a look at his whole description before you decide, who‘s he?)
“The man clothed in linen,
who was above the waters of the river,
lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven,
and I heard him swear by Him who lives forever and ever,
saying, “It will be for a time, times, and half a time.
When the power of the holy people has been broken,
all these things will be completed.”

The times...they are a-changin’. The time-changer began his work long ago before we ever existed, while we were still just little specks in God’s heart.

The Hebrews never had names for the days of the week. The days were only numbered. That was it. Just like those first days in the book of Genesis when God created the heavens and the earth, and all that lives in them. He created all things one at a time, in order. On each new day He created something else, until day six when He made man, his crowning glory. On that day, His creation was complete. It was perfect. So on the seventh day God announced a day of rest.

This day of rest on the seventh day became known as the Sabbath Day for His people, Israel.
In the book of Revelation, when that seventh trumpet shall sound, God’s judgement shall also be complete. It will be perfect, and all the ones who keep the testimony (teachings) of Jesus, all of us who follow Him, shall enter into eternal rest with Him. It’s going to be glorious beyond words, folks!

So what’s the thing with all of these names of the days of the week, and where did they come from?

That time-changer and law-changer has been at it big time. What is he trying to do? Hold on to your hats, I’ll get to that. At the moment, let’s just concentrate on how he’s been going about bringing these changes of his to an unsuspecting world, not to mention, an unsuspecting Church.

How about SUN-day, the first day of the week? Best known as Mirthra day. Mirthra: the dei (day) of the unconquered sun or sol. The unconquered sun is the delusion of satan. Here’s the hat-holder: He believes, and his kids are believing, that he, and their kingdom of evil is unconquerable. He has the world believing, “Follow me, and you shall win.” He’s sort of like the south bragging, “The south will rise again.”

Now then, what about SUN-day, the first day of the week?

The one commandment missing from the New Testament is the commandment about the Sabbath. The Old Covenant tells us, “Keep the Sabbath for it is holy.”

After Jesus came, Sabbath was no longer necessary, just like there are no longer to be any special temples built by man’s hands for God.

This may come as a major surprise to many of you. I, for one, grew up believing that I was to rest, rest, rest on Sunday, that it was the day set aside for the Lord. I was to go to church, the one made with man’s hands, or end up in Hell, and make sure I did nothing that could really be called “fun” on that day. (When I say “fun”, I don’t mean sin. I mean fun.)

Even now, many believe as I did. If they hear that you are not a member of any church made from bricks or wood, it’s like: What? What kind of Christian are you? Not much of one, that’s for sure!

What kind of Christian am I? I’m an every day kind of Christian. How about you?

In John 4:23-24 Jesus met a woman at a well. She was a Samaritan woman that no self-respecting Jew would ever speak to. Samaritans did not even worship at the same Mountain. But Jesus revealed Himself to her, and in doing so, He changed her life, and many others. While they talked, Jesus told her about a coming hour that didn’t involve a Mountain, it involved the heart.
“The hour is coming, and is now here,
when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit (heart) and in truth,
for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him.
God is Spirit,
and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Jesus said the hour was coming, and was already here. That hour came when Jesus redeemed us by His blood, and rose again from the dead three days later.

Our Church building is a spiritual one. The moment we repent and confess Jesus is Lord, our spirit is reborn. We are recreated in God’s image.
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation,
the old things are passed away (dead),
behold, all things are become new.”

Each time I say that I was transformed from the inside out, this is what I mean. Something indescribable happened inside my heart the very instant I said, “I believe.”

And as I remain in Jesus’s words, and do them, the indescribable continues to happen. Not on the surface, but down in my heart. And this is why: because I continue to “put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”(Ephesians 4:24).

God’s come to live in my heart through the Holy Spirit just as He revealed to the Old Covenant prophets.
“What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?
For we are the temple of the Living God.
As God has said,”I will live with them and walk among them,
and I will be their God;
and they shall be my people.”

For we are the temple of the Living God. We are the temple of Jesus, the one who was dead, but is alive forever more. In Him, we are alive forever more, for as He, Jesus, is so are we in this world. We are His temple. And what’s more, we are not to have a special Sabbath Day. Not the seventh day or the first day.

We are to worship God in spirit and in truth every day. We are to be every day kind of Christians. We are His Church. We are His body. We are the temple of the Living God.

We are to be every day Christians. We are to love Him best, and love Him most.
“He (Jesus) answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,
and with all your strength, and with all your mind;
and love your neighbour as yourself.”

Yeah, but what about the part that says, “Forbid not the assembling of yourselves together?”

Well, what about it? The Bible doesn’t say that anywhere. I know because I searched for it myself and couldn’t find it. A ‘forbid not’ part doesn’t exist. But here’s what Paul did say in Hebrews 10:24-25.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
not giving up meeting together,
as some are in the habit of doing,
but encouraging one another--
and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Why get together? To stir one another up, so that we all walk united in love--
Stirring that faith and love that keeps us united as one,
and encouraging each other while we walk through this valley of the shadow of death. Especially as we see that Day approaching.

What Day is that? The Day of the Lord Jesus Christ, the day of our reward.

The early Church met together often. In fact, at first they were getting together every day. They were every day kind of Christians.

Well, some of us can’t do that, Paula. We’ve got to work.

The Bible encourages us to fellowship together often. I like Paul’s words in Colossians 3:15-16. I’ll let you read them for yourself.

But no, Jesus says the hour is here when we worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for every day kind of Christians. That’s what He called us to be. We are in the day when the time-changer is busy changing things, just don’t let the love and zeal in your heart be one of the things he changes.

Become, along with me, an every day kind of Christian. Become a worshipper of the Father, the only God who saves every day, no matter that in our day the days are named after false gods.

And yes, you can! You can find the time to be that every day kind of Christian. But, perhaps “find” the time isn’t the best way to put it. That should be MAKE the time. Cause if you don’t make the time, you won’t find the time.

Put God first and all else will fall into place. Every day. Even on the days when false gods are honoured. (Hey, would that mean every day?)

Sunday- The day of the Sun...Put God first.
Monday-the day of the moon...Put God first.
Tuesday-the day of Mars...Put God first.
Wednesday-the day of Mercury...Put God first.
Thursday-the day of Jupiter...Put God first.
Friday-the day of Venus...Put God first.
Saturday-the day of Saturn...Put God first.

“And he shall attempt to change set times and laws.”

The names of the days of the week were changed, each day to honour a different Roman god.

When did this happen? Hmmm-mmm, let me take a wild guess. The fourth century A.D.?
Boy, that Constantine stayed busy. With his lips he confessed, “I am converted,” but the Bible tells us, “you shall know them by their fruits.”

Constantine said, “I am a Christian.” But his heart was far from God. His fruits reveal that he was an Antichrist out to destroy the Church, just as Daniel predicted would happen. And the devil is a crafty one, because his plan is always to destroy the Church from within. Persecution destroys the body, but to effectively wear out the saints, attack them from within.

In Matthew 7:16 Jesus said,
“By their fruits you will know them.
Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?”

Or as James asks, “Can a fig tree, my brothers and sisters, produce olives? Can a grapevine produce figs?”

In the same way, he also said that no fountain can yield both bitter (salty, poisonous) water and fresh.

Well, what is James getting at? He’s talking about the well in our heart, the well Jesus spoke to us about in John 7:38.
“Whoever believes in me,
as scripture has said,
rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

This living water is never both bitter and sweet. It’s sweet as long as I dwell in Jesus and in His Word.
“I am the (true) vine and you are the branches. He who dwells in me shall bring forth much fruit, for without me, you can do nothing.”

It is the things that come out of the heart that defile a man, not the things that go into the stomach. So Jesus gives us two bits of important advice.

Be careful what you hear: “And He was saying to them, ‘Take care what you listen to; by your standard of measure it will be measured to you;and more will be given as well. For whoever has, by Him, more shall be given, and whoever does not have, even what He has shall be taken away from Him.” (Mark 4:24-25)

Be careful what you see: “The eye is the lamp of your body, when your eye is clear, you whole body is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with it’s rays.” (Luke 11:34-36)

Don’t be deceived. Don’t be taken in by deception like the Church in the fourth century. Paul warned the Church to be alert to what was coming. He was talking about an attack on the Church from within.

Subtle. Deadly. Vicious. Paul called the attackers, “Ravenous Wolves.”
“Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure (His physical death) ravenous wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.” (Acts 20:28-31)

Was that a chill that just went up my back? Aren’t these the same ravenous wolves Jesus talks about in Matthew 7:15? Yes, indeed. False prophets. Ravenous wolves, but in sheep’s clothing.

And wouldn’t you know it, Paul was right and Jesus was right. And I’m warning you again. I’m warning you of the exact same thing. Right now. In our day.

The wolves aren’t done yet. They’re still hungry, and they’re still at it, tearing sheep apart with great iron claws and sharpened teeth.

The pulpits of today are filled with blind Shepherds, just like in Jesus’ day. Do they look like wolves? Do they sound like wolves? No. They are gentle as lambs, and butter would not melt in their mouths. Yet, each one devouring with great iron claws and sharpened teeth. How? By teaching traditions, and rituals, and watering down the Word into a lie.

Then, there he stands, as big as life, wearing false humility well, and a thousand times more deadly than Constantine ever was. Constantine was only the beginning. The False Prophet of today, the one satan has chosen to deceive the whole world, he is the end. Call him satan’s last stand.

He stands before us doing exactly what he sees his father do: deceiving. This false prophet, Francis, has just travelled to Turkey, a predominantly Muslim nation.

On the news, Francis stands beside the nation’s highest Islamic leader in front of the Blue Mosque. Removing his shoes, Francis folds his hands, and he and the Grand Mufti turn to face Mecca. The two bow their heads in prayer together.

The Vatican described the Pope’s actions as a “moment of silent adoration.”

Francis also requested prayer for himself. “I also ask of you the kindness of a special prayer for myself, so that I might be a Pastor in harmony with Christ’s heart.”

Do the Pope’s words and the teachings of the Bible agree?

The Church Cathecism has a plan of salvation that’s in sharp contrast to the plan of Salvation the Bible teaches. The Catholic plan is laid out like this: “...includes all those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place are the Muslims...together with us they adore the One Merciful God.”

The tree is bearing thistles. The spring, poisonous water.

Salvation is indeed available to all men. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever shall believe on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

This Salvation is for whosoever, any one, any one--any person, any Muslim, any Hindu, any Atheist--anyone, no matter who he is or what he’s ever done, when he BELIEVES in God’s Son, Jesus, he shall not perish. He shall have everlasting life.

If the person is saying, “Far be it from God to have a Son,” then they are not believing in Jesus, and until they do believe, they cannot be saved. Jesus IS our Creator, and if you don’t acknowledge Him as the Son of God, then you don’t acknowledge the Creator. The gospel of John tells us that all things were made by Jesus. He is the Word, and without Him nothing that is made was made. (John 1:1-5)

So are the Christians and Muslims worshipping the same God? Well, the Pope and the Muslims may be, but I’m not. I’m acknowledging my Creator. I’m adoring the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Pope keeps insisting that all people in all religions are brothers. I’ll call this what it is: it’s a blatant lie. Look back at what the Bible says, and what I just repeated again. Jesus is the only way to the Father, God of heaven and earth. He is the only way.

God is your Father if you’re following the Lord Jesus Christ, and we are His children.

Satan is your father if you are not. “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father...” (John 8:44)

Jesus was very clear about one thing. He is the only Way to the Father. Following Him is being an every day kind of Christian.

You can’t reach heaven by following man, or any man-made god. And you can’t get there via the Sun or by looking to a ‘Higher Power.’

The Most High God is not generic. He’s got a name, and His name is above every other name. So that at the name of Yeshua, Jesus, every knee must bow, of beings in heaven, and beings on the earth, and beings under the earth, and every tongue must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

For there is no other name under heaven by which man can be saved. No other name. No other name.

No other god ever died for me. Not Muhammad or Mirthra or Buddha or Krishna; nor Santa, nor Sanat. Nor satan, who is behind them all. Only Jesus died for me. And Salvation is only through Him.

Jesus made a way for us through this dark world. He made the way by becoming the Way. So it doesn’t matter which day of the week you worship. It matters WHO you worship.

Reclaim those changed times and laws in your heart. Just make every day SON-day. Become an every day kind of Christian, and you can’t go wrong. Follow the Son of God. Follow Jesus. Every day.

Every day.
