Where You Lead Me, I Will Follow

Good Morning from water-soaked England, and from my love-soaked heart. I know that sounds corny but it's true. Jump-start your heart with the Word from the Lord. Hear Him. I dare you. His love will quickly melt the coldest heart, and fire-up the luke-warm spirit. Believe me, I know, because it has mine: He has mine. May your day be love-soaked and BLESSED in all ways, PK x

WORD FROM THE LORD~12 February 2014

Where You Lead, I Will Follow

After I wrote down the Lord’s Words, He lead me to this song. The song is new to me, but as I read the words, it became the song in my heart. My theme for the day, and the days thereafter. I pray that it becomes the song in your heart as you read the Words of God spoken to you this day. With Paul I say to you, “Follow my lead as I follow Jesus. I follow by faith. And don’t you rely on anything less than faith. Don’t settle for hope; Don’t settle for less, go for the more. Live completely in His love. Follow my lead as I follow Him.”

"Where You Lead Me"

What is life?
A thousand roads, a thousand ways
Why am I so afraid to move
I crossed the line
I'm stepping out so come what may
I give it all cause I'm drawn to You

As long as my heart is beating...
Where You lead me I will follow
Where You lead me I give my life away
Where You lead me I will follow
Forever and a day
Forever and a day

I can't deny Your very presence is my life
And why would I ever turn away
Cause deep inside I know that I cannot rely
On anything less than faith

As long as my heart is beating...
Where You lead me I will follow
Where You lead me I give my life away
Where You lead me I will follow
Forever and a day

This is all I'm dreaming of
To live completely in Your love

So this is life

Where You lead me I give my life away
Where You lead me I will follow
Forever and a day

Where You lead me I will follow
Where You lead me I give my life away
Where You lead me I will follow
Forever and a day
Forever and a day

Each morning I bring my steaming hot cup of decaff into the Living Room, grab my Bible, and ask the Lord the same question:
“Is there a theme for today? Where would you have me turn?”

Today, He answered, “What do you see in your heart?”

I quieted the noise of my mind, and looked down deep within myself. I saw nothing at first. Then ‘Jeremiah 5‘ seemed to come out of nowhere. But I still was hesitant, so I made my reply a question, “Jeremiah 5?”

His voice remained silent, but I knew He was there. So, I began turning the pages to the book of Jeremiah as I commented, “I don’t think I’ve ever read Jeremiah 5 before.”

As I read the words that He had first directed to Israel, He let me know that He is giving them now to the Church. They are words you must read yourself to fully understand. For they are words of Judgement yet also of hope. They are words of warning spoken in love.

After I read the entire chapter outloud to Him and to me, I said, “It’s hard to see,” because the impact of it really hit me hard and cut me deeply.

He responded with gentleness, “You must look at it.”

Then His message poured forth in a river of words,
“The Church has abandoned Me, and now I am abandoning it. There will be a remnant (Is. 11:16) rising up out of the midst of her. A remnant ready to fight and ready to go. A remnant willing to serve Me with their whole hearts. A remnant destined for victory. A remnant given over to holiness(1Pet. 1:15), to walking in My light (John 11:9-10), to the study of My Word (2 Tim. 2:15). A remnant who believes Me, the One true God. A remnant who seek me with their whole hearts (Dt 4:29). This is what will be. This is what will be.”

A second later, I heard, “In sorrow, Paula, you sow. In joy, you reap.”

Then, Jesus spoke again to you, His Church,
“And the Church is destroyed, Paula. And the Church is destroyed. They brought it down on their own heads. I do not tolerate religion. Mine is serving in sincerity of a true heart, becoming just men made perfect (Heb. 12:23). Reach for perfection (Phil 3:12-13). Become those stars in the sky: reach forth, reach forth, deep into My Word (Phil 2:12-18 NIV), and become doers, not justifiers of your own dead works (James 1:22), of your religion, your traditions, your sin (James 1:23). Become followers of Me (Jn 8:55). Deny Self (the flesh), pick up your cross and follow me(Mt. 16:14), or I will deny you (2 Tim. 2:15). Look to Me, Jesus, the God of your Salvation (Col 3:1-4). Look to Me and follow My lead (1 Cor. 11:1).”

The Lord directed His next comment to me, and yet, it is also to you,
“Paula, I mean what I say, and I say what I mean.” (Ps. 33:9)

“I know you do, Lord,” I answered.

I only know too well that means what He says, and says what He means, every single word, every command, every promise is true, and He will perform it in every one who believes. If He didn’t mean it, He never would have said it.The whole key to seeing His Word happen in our lives is that we must believe. If we do not believe, then we don not receive. (Mk 11:23)

I bowed my head and vowed,
“I look to You, God of my Salvation, and I continue to look to You.”

Hear Him, Hear my Lord and Saviour, and yours--Hear Him(Lk 11:28), and repent and do His Word (Jer. 5:21). Believe His entire gospel, not the diluted traditions of men(Col 2:8); 2 Thess. 2:14-15). Believe and serve Him. Believe and live (Dt. 30:11-18; Rom. 10:6-10). Believe and follow Him. And when doubts bullet your mind, believe with your heart, and follow Him still.

Burn these words like a brand into your heart, let them burrow down deep inside and take root,

Where You lead me I give my life away
Where You lead me I will follow
Forever and a day

Where You lead me I will follow
Where You lead me I give my life away
Where You lead me I will follow
Forever and a day
Forever and a day...

Forever and a day...Forever and a day...forever and a day...wherever He leads, Follow still.
