Here we stand, folks. We are in the kingdom built by pride. David called this place “the valley of Baca.” (Psalm 84)

“Baca” stands for bitterness.

David called this age “the valley of the shadow of death.” (Psalm 23)

And here in this valley Death is casting a mighty shadow, and Hell is nipping at its heels. We are seeing with our own eyes this Baca filled with sin and death.

Here we stand, folks, in the very last pages of Revelation. The curtain is about to come down on the devil’s kingdom.  A door is opening. I see a white horse and He who sits on the horse is called Faithful and True. That door is opening, and the Lord Jesus Christ is coming thru. What’s more, He’s not coming empty-handed. He is bringing salvation unto all who believe, for He, and He alone is “the captain of our salvation, perfect through sufferings, for both He that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them children…

For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same;

That through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil, and deliver them who through fear of death (fear of dying physically and leaving this shell of a body, which is condemned) were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:10-11, 14-15.

Are you a ‘them?’ I’m a ‘them.’

If we are ‘thems’, then we are also children of the Most High God, the only one who is the author of life and of salvation.

Many will say when they see Jesus coming in those clouds, “That’s not fair. I didn’t know you were coming this soon. You sneaked up on me.”

But Jesus isn’t sneaking at all. The signs of His coming are all around us now, in plain sight. His voice is instructing, “When you see these signs coming about, look up, look away from those distractions there on earth. Open up the eyes of your spirit, those eyes I gave you, and keep them on me.”

I’m here giving you the signs we are to see with the eyes of our heart, and the words we are to hear with the ears of our heart. I am sent to say, “Get ready! Prepare your heart for the coming of the Lord. Prepare. Repent. Turn around and follow Jesus, not the world.”

The door in heaven is opening, and as it does, I hear the voices of the Ancients cry loudly, “Who will believe our witness? To whom shall the arm of the Lord be revealed?”

While their cries fill my ears, I lift up my voice along with the Patriarch David, speaking His words.

Psalm 2

“Why are the nations in an uproar

And the peoples (of God) imaging a vain (empty and worthless) thing?

The king(doms) of the earth take their stand

And the rulers take council together

Against You, Lord, and against your Anointed (One), Jesus, saying,

LET US tear their fetters apart

And cast away their cords from us!”

The pain in my heart from watching a world destroying itself brings a note of urgency to my  voice. “Arise, O Lord, and deliver your people, just as you did of old in the land of Egypt. Rise up, O Lord, and show your power. Give us, your bond servants, the boldness to speak your Word with salt. You, Immanuel, ‘God with us,’ accompany us.

As we speak Your Word in your authority, You stretch forth your hand in healings, with signs and wonders following.

You back up your Word, which we speak by faith, just as you always have. You back up your Word to perform it.

We follow you, Jesus, speaking your living Word, and Your power follows us.”

Follow is the same as accompany. Jesus accompanies us, His body. He is the head. Have you ever seen a headless body? He accompanies us, just as He promised, because He is a keeper of His promises, when we believe and speak them, just like the early Church did.  When we stop speaking our own words, which are lies based on the wrong wisdom and controlled by how we feel, how things look, and what we hear from the world, when we speak His Word, as He commands we do, His power backs it up.

In this kingdom where man is god and god is man, pride is a touchie-feelie thing. And in this man-made kingdom, there is a whole lotta scheming going on. Satan is strutting himself, like the peacock that he is, but strip away those brightly coloured feathers and whadda you got? A naked bird wearing SELF-righteousness.

In this kingdom of pride stands a pope. The pope is saying many things and to the physical ears they all sound mighty good. To our 5 senses and our mental intellect, all he says seems to make sense.

I mean, really, guys, remember Eve? She listened to the serpent’s words, she got out of faith, and looked at the fruit on the wrong tree with the wrong eyes. She “saw” and the fruit that God warned not to eat, looked mighty good to her. She saw with the wrong wisdom, and the Serpent’s lie sounded better than the truth. She went by the five senses, and she was deceived. In this same way, the world is being deceived by the serpent.

No matter how good the words of the world sound, if we go to the Word of God, and compare the pope’s words with God’s own, we see they are not at all the same. In fact, one is white, and one is black.

The pope is preaching “The Bible and the Koran are the same.”

His Bible must be different than mine, ‘cause I’m not seeing the same thing he’s seeing.

No, wait, I get it. It’s a case of upside down-ness. The world has upside down vision.

If the Bible and the Koran are the same, that would mean that they would be in agreement. Does the Bible and the Koran say the same thing?

Let’s zoom in for a closer look.

The Koran teaches: Jesus is not the Son of God. This is their appeal to us from the pages of the Koran.

“O People of the Scripture. Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not three—Cease! (it is) better for you! –Allah is only one Allah. For it is removed from His transcendent Majesty that He should have a Son.”

What does the Bible say? Is it saying the same thing like the pope claims?

Even the theologians and the PhDs in Jesus’ day knew full well that the Messiah, the Holy One of Israel, would be God’s Son. The Old Testament or Torah teaches this.

Solomon writes with his pen of the ready writer, “Who has ascended up into the heavens, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? WHAT IS HIS NAME, AND WHAT IS HIS SON’S NAME, if you can tell? Every word of God is pure: he is a shield to them who puts his trust in him.”

The next verse is a warning, “Add not unto His Words---do not, do not, do not add to His words.” Proverbs 20:4-6.

The coming Messiah is the Son of God.

The voice of Isaiah is next. His words are very familiar, but are we hearing them with the right ears?

“For unto us a child is born, UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN: and the government shall be upon his shoulders;

And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

The coming Messiah is the Son of God.

By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.

Can I get a witness in the New Testament?

The Koran mentions a message conveyed to Mary. Convey is another word for reveal, make known. What did the angel Gabriel who came to Mary reveal to her?

Mary? Can I get a witness?

“And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favour with God.

And behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son: Yehoshua, our Jesus ( Joshua, meaning SAVIOUR).

He shall be great, and shall be called THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH: and the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David.

And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever;

And His kingdom shall never end.

Then Mary said to the angel, How shall this be seeing that I know no man?

And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you: therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called THE SON OF GOD.”

Here’s the part of the message conveyed to Mary that the world’s not hearing—that last part. While teaching me how to write and preach, the most memorable instruction from the Lord is, “Simple, simple, simple; Repeat, repeat, repeat.” This is why, my friends, my pen is a stuttering pen, and my mouth a stuttering mouth. God is a stutterer and so am I. He wants us to hear with the right ears instead of the wrong ones. Only then will we really hear and obey His Word.

“He shall be called THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH…THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH…THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH…therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called THE SON OF GOD…THE SON OF GOD…THE SON OF GOD.”

Yehosuha: our Jesus is the Messiah, The Son of God.

Can I get another witness?  Peter raises his voice. “Yeah, me.”

Most did not recognise Jesus until He was dead. Jesus said as much. But one time Jesus asked the twelve disciples, “…who do you say I AM?”

Peter answered from his heart, “The Christ (the Messiah), THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD.” Matthew 16:15-16.

Andrew, how did you answer when Jesus told you He had seen you under that fig tree before you met Him?

“You are THE SON OF GOD, the king of Israel.”

What do you say, John, about Jesus, the one you followed?

John gives this testimony, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten SON, that whosoever (anyone, anywhere, any religion, man or woman or child) who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

“Who is a liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the Antichrist, that denies THE FATHER AND THE SON.

Whoever denies the SON, the same does not (have) the Father: but the one that confesses the SON has the Father also.” John 3:16 & 1 John 2:22-23.

Jesus, the one who fulfilled to the letter hundreds of prophecies, is the Messiah, The Son of God.

Can I get a witness from someone who was not a disciple of Jesus?  In the pages of Mark stands a centurion. He was ordered to stand by the cross while Jesus died and make sure none of his disciples took him down off that cross.

That day was the darkest day known to man. At 12 noon a veil of darkness as black as sin blotted out the sun.  Even in Jesus day, man was worshipping the created thing instead of the Creator, but as the Creator Himself, the SON of God, hung on that cross, the created sun, or eye of Horus, was struck and blackened out. This eclipse lasted for three hours.

At the moment Jesus took His last breath, the heavy veil of the temple was torn into. A huge earthquake shook the land.

Jesus had said that many would believe once He was lifted up and He was right. “When the centurion, who was standing in front of Him, saw the way He breathed His last, he said, Surely  (In truth) this is the SON OF GOD.” Mark 15:39.

Why is the world denying that Jesus is the Son of God? Saying Jesus is the Son of God is the same as saying Jesus is the Messiah. The Messiah is the Son of God; the Son of God is the Messiah.

The pope is preaching, “The Bible and the Koran are the same.”

The Koran states Jesus was not crucified: “And because of their sayings: we slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger—they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them, and lo! Who disagrees concerning it are in doubt thereof.”

What am I hearing about all those witnesses, most of whom would give up their lives for the Jesus they chose to follow, no matter what the cost? It’s just their imagination?

By the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established.

After an unfair trial, John tells us what happened next.

“They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha.

There they CRUCIFIED Him…” John 19:17.

Luke agrees with John.

“When they came to the place called The Skull, there they CRUCIFIED Him…” Luke 23:33.

What was that? They CRUCIFIED Him.

Jesus was crucified so that the scriptures might be fulfilled.

David couldn’t say it any plainer when he described in graphic detail all the Messiah would suffer for our sins so that we might live in Him. See for yourself in Psalm 22.

Some may say, “Okay. Perhaps Jesus WAS hung on a cross, but he didn’t die. He was taken down before he was dead.”

Why would people say this? Because it is by the shedding of Jesus’ blood that we are saved. If He didn’t die on that cross, our trust in Him is in vain. If He didn’t die and was raised again 3 days later by the power of the Most High, our hope in Him is in vain.

Breaking the legs of the person being crucified was standard practice. Death came faster when legs were broken, and in a kingdom that was crucifying for every crime they needed that space for someone else. But Jesus was different. David was adamant. The Messiah’s legs would not be broken.

“Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with Him.

But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was dead already, they did not break his legs:

But one of the soldiers with a sword pierced His side and forthwith came out blood and water.” John 19:33-34.

“He keeps all His bones, not one of them is broken.” Psalm 34:20.

How did David know? Who told him?

The living God told Him. This is how the Bible is different from any other book, it is written by the pens of many different men from many different walks of life and periods of history. All of them are in perfect agreement with each other, and all of them are stutterers, just like God, and just like me. They foresaw events in the future they could not have known or even imagined in their own imaginations. Each of these events have happened or are happening right now.

These men all had one thing in common. They all served the same God, the Creator of heaven and earth with all their hearts, all their minds, all their strength, and with every fibre of their being. They each made the same choice: they would speak the words of the God they served and not their own. They were the voice. The Words were His. The power was His. And unto God be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

They were men inspired by the Most Holy God. This is why the Word they spoke was always truth.

“But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.” 2 Peter 1:21-22.

God gives it, and only God can explain it.

His word is fact, but man makes it theory.
